Each year the BSPED aims to offer a limited number of small project grants that are intended either to promote and support academic research by its members, or promote and support educational projects or surveys.

BSPED sponsored grants and prizes

The BSPED sponsors several grants and prizes which are awarded at its Annual Meeting each year:

• BSPED Conference Attendance Grant (Previously Travel Grant)
• BSPED Annual Meeting prizes – given out annually for the best non-consultant CME Case Presentation and the top-scoring oral communication and poster presentation.

Funding article publications

The BSPED will only consider funding article publication for papers/guidelines commissioned by the BSPED or a BSPED Special Interest Group, and pre-approved by the Executive and Clinical Committees, not those undertaken independently.
