Clinical & Professional Resources

The clinical resources on our website are based on the best available evidence at the time and in some cases based on consensus. These resources are working documents that reflect the state of the field at the time of publication. Most of the content of the guidelines is based on a combination of best clinical practice and literature reviews. Every effort has been made to ensure their accuracy.

Please review the BSPED Summary of Guidance document for more information.

They are produced to assist health care professionals in medical decision making for specific clinical conditions. They are not a substitute for clinical judgement and should not be considered medical advice. Every effort has been made to ensure their accuracy. The resources are meant for use by clinicians who are ultimately responsible for ensuring that it is appropriate for their patient population. The BSPED is not liable for any clinical errors resulting in untoward events. Please contact members of the Clinical Committee for any matters related to the contents found here.
