As a BSPED Member you are entitled to reduced registration rates for the Main Meeting registration and the CME day registration. If you would like to become a member of the BSPED please complete an online application at your earliest convenience.  Your application will be processed and a member number given so you can register online at the reduced rates. If you wish to receive the BSPED Member fee at the early bird rate then you should apply for membership by 3 September 2018, after this deadline you will not be guaranteed the early bird rate.

 

Main Meeting registration (Thursday and Friday) and CME day registration (Wednesday) have separate registration fees. They can both be booked using the main online registration form. Please see all information listed below:

  • Consultant rates includes Consultants and Specialists 
  • Junior Doctor rates include doctors practising at any stage between graduation and completion of specialist postgraduate training
  • Allied Health Professional rates include all Nurses, Scientists & Dieticians

Please note: these rates also apply to newly qualify junior doctors submitting work done as a medical student. This rate is not available on the online registration form so if you wish to apply please contact the Conference Team.

 

If you are an allied health professional or junior doctor BSPED member who will be the 1st author on a submitted abstract, concessionary rates and travel grants will be available after the abstract deadline when you have received the outcome of your abstract (by 31 August 2018). Please refer to the page on travel grants.

To be eligible at a particular rate, payment must reach our account in time for that deadline. If received after this, the higher fee would apply to the registration.

 

Registration fees for the Main Meeting includes:

  • Access to the satellite symposium on Wednesday evening and all sessions on Thursday and Friday
  • Tea and coffee in designated breaks
  • Lunch on Thursday and Friday
  • Access to the commercial exhibition and Welcome Reception
  • Programme and online abstract book

If you wish to attend the CME Training Day then there is an additional registration fee and this will need to be selected on the online registration form.

 

Registration fees for the CME Training Day includes:

  • Access to all of the sessions on Wednesday including the satellite symposium on Wednesday evening
  • Tea and coffee in designated breaks
  • Lunch on Wednesday
  • Access to the commercial exhibition and Welcome Reception
  • Programme and online abstract book

 

Delegate Documents

Registration confirmation and joining instructions will be sent to all participants in written form via email after receipt of registration.

 

Online Payment

All payments for the congress must be made in GBP. Bioscientifica Ltd is the professional meeting organiser for BSPED 2018.

Registration badges will not be issued until payment is made in full.

The preferred payment method for the meeting is on-line payment with a credit/debit card. Upon providing your personal details in the on-line form, you will be automatically redirected to the WorldPay secure payment site before confirming your registration on the final page of the form. An automatic payment receipt is sent by email from WorldPay if the payment is processed successfully.

 

It is important that you click the ‘FINISH’ button and request confirmation via email, failure to do so will mean your registration will not be complete and may delay entry to the meeting.

 

Cancellation of Registration / Refund Requests

All cancellations of registration or refund requests must be made in writing to Bioscientifica Ltd.

Cancellation of registration or refund requests will be accepted until and on 20 September 2018 – cancellation requests received before this date will be subject to an administrative charge of £15.

For cancellations or refund requests made after 20 September 2018 (for any reason including ill health) we regret that no refunds can be made or authorised.

Please send your confirmation and receipt with the written cancellation. Refunds will be processed after the BSPED 2018 Meeting has taken place.

The BSPED recommends that all delegates take out insurance to cover their registration, travel and accommodation costs to cover the case that they are unable to attend or the event is cancelled for any unforeseen reason. The BSPED takes no responsibility for reimbursing delegates’ expenses in such cases.

Delegates are fully liable for damages caused to the third parties and property. All delegates shall have valid, comprehensive third party liability insurance.
