I am delighted to welcome you to the new website that has been developed by the British Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. The website has been created to inform professionals of the many activities of the Society, and to foster collaboration and dialogue between professionals. Additionally, we hope that juniors training in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes will be able to use the website as a platform to communicate with each other, and to engage in training and educational activities. The website also offers educational opportunities for parents of children with endocrine disorders including diabetes mellitus, with updated information on a range of endocrine conditions. We hope that those of you who have an interest in endocrinology and diabetes and who are not as yet members of the society will be spurred on to become members and thereby gain access to the private members’ section once you have seen what the society has to offer through the website.
