Why is the BSPED 2020 Annual Meeting postponed?

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a global issue. We understand that many of you will be on the front line fighting this virus in your hospitals and clinics, and worrying for the health of your families and friends, as well as your patients.

We have been carefully monitoring the developing situation with COVID-19 and recommendations from the local government to assess and address the potential consequences and concerns of the paediatric endocrine community arising from this situation.

The dedicated BSPED Working Group, set up to evaluate the options, has decided that the health, safety, and well-being of our delegates, speakers, exhibitors, staff and other stakeholders is of paramount importance and therefore it is in the best interest of everyone to postpone the Meeting.
