| Membership of
The Nurses Group is open to all nurses involved in the care of
children with endocrine disorders.
With the exception of the larger centres many nurses working
within this specialist area may be the only nurse in the team.
By working together, sharing knowledge and expertise, we aim to
support each other and encourage new developments in practice.
As in many other fields of nursing one size does not fit all
and although we may have similar sounding job titles our areas
of practice are diverse. Areas of expertise may include developing
family information, teaching administration of medicines, auxology,
research, pituitary function testing.
